If you're an experienced eBay seller and want to help other people sell their items on eBay, you can be listed in the Trading Assistant Directory. Being listed in the directory is a great way to advertise your services to people looking for help selling items on eBay. Trading Assistants sell items for others on eBay for a fee.

Trading Assistants are not employees or independent contractors of eBay, nor do we endorse or approve them. Each Trading Assistant runs his or her own independent business, free from any involvement by eBay. You should apply the same standards in selecting a Trading Assistant as you would in hiring anyone to perform a service for you. Use good judgment and common sense in making your choice.

Joining the Trading Assistants Directory:

Trading Assistant Requirements
To become an eBay Trading Assistant, be listed in Trading Assistant Directory, and gain access to marketing materials, you must agree to and abide by the eBay Trading Assistant User Agreement and you must reside in the U.S.*

In addition, you must:
  • Have an eBay account in good standing at all times.
  • Have sold at least ten (10) items on eBay in the previous three (3) months and maintain 10 sales per 3-month period.
  • Maintain a minimum feedback score of 100, with at least 98% positive, at all times.
  • Abide by the terms of the Trading Assistant Style Guide.

If you meet the above conditions, sign up now to become a Trading Assistant.


Registered eBay Drop Off Location Requirements
Registered eBay Drop Off Locations are Trading Assistants that have a staffed facility with regular business hours offering services that include item drop off and listing on eBay. Registered eBay Drop Off Locations must meet the following additional requirements:

*Please note that if you reside outside of the United States, you may not register as a Trading Assistant or Registered eBay Drop Off Location in this directory. This is due to the new user agreement which takes into account issues unique to United States residents. If you wish to have a profile in the Trading Assistant directory, please create one on the eBay site of your country of residence.
