We can also take care of the initial evaluation via email if you have pictures you can send, as well as a description of the item(s) and any other information you believe will help in establishing a sell price.
Services
Service Description:
- As your Trading Assistant, I will evaluate the item(s) you are interested in selling. If I think it'll be a good sell, I'll conduct research on similar items to help in determining a price to sell. Once I get your ok to go ahead, I start by taking at least 12 great pictures of the item, create a detailed description and provide an optimized title so that Buyers can find the item in searches. When the item sells, I professionally package the item and ship - usually via USPS Priority Mail. I track the shipment to ensure the Buyer receives. I communicate with the Buyer at the time of shipment and then to confirm delivery.
- You will receive an itemized list of everthing that sold, including a breakdown of eBay, PayPal and Shipping fees.
- If your item doesn't sell I can take it to Goodwill to donate it for you, or I'll return it to you.
- Send me an email and let me know what you've got. We can meet at your place or someplace in between. If you are able to send pictures to me in email and a bit of a description, we might even be able to take care of the initial evaluation via email and/or phone conversation.
Fees:
- My fee is 28% commission of the final winning bid or buy it now price for managing your listing beginning to end.
- You will pay all eBay fees. I will deduct the eBay fees from the final price. You can get an idea of what the fees are by visiting http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/fees.html - you'll see that eBay fees can vary quite a bit. We can determine together what features to use in the listing and I'll determine how to keep eBay fees as low as possible.
- You will pay all PayPal fees. Currently, PayPal charges me 2.9% of the final price, including shipping costs - sorry, that's how PayPal charges!
- The listing is typically set up so that the Buyer pays for exact shipping costs. I do not charge you or the Buyer for shipping supplies, such as bubble wrap/peanuts - those things are on me!
Terms And Conditions:
Everything is negotiable - just ask.
- To begin consignment, you will need to agree to and sign a Consignment Contract which will detail all terms and conditions.
- Payment to you: I normally provide Buyers a return policy of seven days from date of receipt. Most Buyer's appreciate a return policy as it makes the transaction safer for them and buyers are more likely to purchase the item. As a result of the return policy, payment to you is made within two business days of the end of the Return Period. Your payment can be transferred to your PayPal account, or I can send you a Check - your choice.
- If the Buyer decides to return the item, then they are due a refund (minus original shipping) and they also must pay the return shipping. A refund is not sent until after I receive the item back. To make it fair for you, I will not charge you any eBay or PayPal fees for returns. If you want to relist the item, I can certainly do that.
- Items must be left with me prior to listing Item(s) on eBay. This is required because (1) I ship items within one business day of purchase; (2) to take quality photos; (3) to ensure item is safely stored and ready to ship.
