I specialize in dolls of all kinds. I am especially good at the shipping and packaging of porcelain dolls and dolls of composition and dolls than are aged. I have a vast knowledge of dolls and have a large following of clients that are satisfied with my sales and are avid collectors. I would like the opportunity to take on consignment your precious dolls that may have belonged to you or your loved one and find them a new home. If they need repair, I can repair small things, and have contacts that can repair the dolls to their original luster before auction if you wish, but most buyers would rather do this themselves. I am especially talented in the packaging and shipping of these precious items. I have shipped many and have been successful at getting them to their destinations in one peice.
I will meet with you and pick up your item (s). I will go to my office and work up a detailed description for your listing that includes details that will sell your item for its maximum dollar. I will then list them, photograph them, describe them, sell them, and then ship them while at the same time providing you with a detailed description of cost from the cost of listing, shipping, and the commission costs. All you have to do is wait for the check.
It would be faster to call me at my home at 828- 514-9184 to arrange a time for us to get together. If there is no answer, don't worry, I am just talking to another customer, and I may be in your area. I will call you right back. Promise.
I charge a 35% of each final sale before the fees are subtracted for my commission. There is a discount for volume and this is done on a case by case basis. If you retract your item if you change your mind, there is a 10% retraction fee. I guarantee your item to sell, or I will purchase it from you at the listed price minus the 35%. This is a predetermined amount, predetermined time, and is signed by contract to Polly's Dolls and Collectibles.
Client will pay the listing fees, and any feature fees in advance. If item doesn't sell, these fees will be forfeited, and client will have to decide whether or not to proceed or to change price, or to retract. If retracted there will be a $3.00 retraction fee. There are; however, exclusions to this if there are bulk listings to one client. These are made on a case by case rule.
My company offers refunds if descriptions are not accurate. It is up to the client and me to complete the description accurately. I am relying on the accuracy of the client as to the item, and if there is a discrepency in the description and what is the truth, I must give a refund. I must protect my customers. I have to maintain quality products. That refund will come from the client. Funds may be held until the client receives the item and is satisfied. This also is on a case by case basis.
I have the right to refuse to sell any product that I feel does not meet the standards of my store and the customers that buy from me.
