I specialize in vintage American calendar art, magazines, paintings, prints and illustrated books. I list many other kinds of items,too, so I can help you sell almost anything. I also list items for charities, churches and synagogues, and most other organizations. I'll photograph, write-up, and list your items, then pack and ship them to the winners. Then I'll mail you a check for the proceeds, minus any commission, ebay and paypal fees incurred in the listing and sale.
I list items at a flat rate of $10 and up per item, depending on the item's value and services required, plus all ebay and paypal fees related to the listing of your item, regardless of whether the item sells or not. If you bring a lot of items at once, I can give you a discount on the listing fees. When an item sells, I receive a commission of 10% of the sale price. Ebay and paypal fees total about another 15%, so the after-sale fees + commission will be about 25% of the sale price. "House calls" are $30, plus my usual listing fee per auction. Private lessons are $30 per hour, and usually run 2 to 3 hours each.
I prefer that you bring your items (or photos of large items like furniture or exercise equipment) to me in Nyack. If you need me to come to your home or place of business, there's an extra fee for the "house call." If your items don't sell within 7 regular auction listing days + 30 eBay store listing days, I'll ask you to come and pick them up. I won't list cars or other motor vehicles, real estate, firearms or risqué items. But I can help you set up an eBay account, along with your own real estate or motor vehicle listing, for a flat fee of $150.00.
