eBay FEES:  Please realize that the fees paid to eBay now run around 12-15% or more, plus the Paypal fees.  The eBay and Paypal fees incurred are included in my commission and lot fee.

COMMISSIONS:  Generally the fees run about 20-30% of the selling price, usually plus a lot fee.  The lot fee covers the photographs and eBay/PayPal overhead in selling modest value items.  For most collections averaging over $100 or so per item, the commission would be 20% with a modest lot fee.  The lower the average value, the higher the commission and lot fee, to recover overhead costs.  Items selling for over $3000 have negotiable commissions.  With the lot fee it is generally not economically worthwhile for sellers to have me sell low value items as individual lots.  I'm happy to combine items to make it more reasonable for both of us.  I really prefer to handle items with an estimated value of $25 and up per lot.  eBay fees are INCLUDED in the commission rate!  See TERMS for an additional fee for non-Paypal payments to consignors.  If you have lower valued items for sale, please contact me for other options.  Write or call to discuss your material.

RESERVES:  I am happy to offer items with reserves, however the full commission is still due if the item does not sell at your reserve.  If you allow me to set starting bids and/or reserves, and the item does not sell, the only cost to you would be the lot fee and any eBay fees incurred.

INFO to CONSIGNOR:  After all sales are complete, a brief list of sold items will be emailed to the consignor, along with payment.  Due to the excess time involved, notification to the consignor is limited to only the brief title and selling price.  Consignors interested in the selling date, or viewing the listing should watch my eBay listings.  Info such as payment and shipping dates are not sent to consignors.

TERMS:  TITLE to items REMAINS with consignor until paid in full.  Generally I pay consignors 40 days after date of sale, or sooner if all payments have been received.  For sales overseas or to questionable buyers, I reserve the right to hold up consignor payment until funds have cleared, which is generally 60 days for Paypal payments.  I do offer an unconditional warranty as to the item being genuine, and I do not sell fake or fantasy items.

In the unlikely event an item sells, but the transaction is not completed by the buyer, I can either return it to you, or re-run it (the lot fee and any eBay fees incurred are due).  The commission is figured on the net selling price, NOT including our reasonable shipping and handling charges. 

PAYMENT:  Payment to consignor will be via PayPal.  Due to the new eBay regulations requiring accepting auction payments via PayPal, an additional fee of 2% is charged if you want payment via check, to cover our additional actual costs.
